Vision for Mathematics Education

Nebraska’s College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics clarify high expectations for all students to be able to communicate mathematical concepts using multiple representations to reason, solve problems, and make connections within mathematics and across content areas. The mathematical processes highlight the applied nature of mathematics within careers. The knowledge and skills, along with the processes, prepare our students to meet the demands of mathematics in the real world.
